Twenty Years Of Cultural Enrichment Since its establishment in 1991, Tenri Cultural Institute has had the privilege of showcasing the works of artists and performers whose art has inspired kings and emperors and influenced popular culture. The Arts Gallery, designed by: Marble
Fairbanks Architects, is a beautiful bright space that hosts ten
shows a year from contemporary artists such as Matt Mahurin to traditional
master painters such as Dae Won Kim. We have also featured Japanese
calligrapher Miwako Kawakami and photographer Mitch Epstein. Performing Arts Space: Hosting over 80

Chamber music ensembles such as Borromeo String Quartet and amateur
artists such as students from NYU School of Music, Japanese traditional
performers such as Ronnie Nyogetsu Seldin and Sachiyo Ito and other
acoustic and vocal musicians such as the Art Mob.
