Beginner and Advanced Classes

At Tenri Cultural Institute we accommodate children and adults with little or no knowledge of the Japanese language as well as students with advanced Japanese language ability.

Our unique teaching method developed over the last 40 years at the prestigious Tenri University employs traditional instruction with audio-visual aids to immerse students in the Japanese language.

Flexibility in courses and schedules

• Career Enhancement We offer short and long-term study to help you further career goals, gain employment in a Japanese company, or simply to help prepare you for a trip to Japan.
  
• Flexible Schedules We offer day and night classes during the week as well as weekend classes. See current schedule.
  
• Small Classes In order to address the individual needs of our students, even our most popular classes have a class size limit of 15. Most of our classes average 3 to 5 students.

Open to students during office hours for class preparation, study and conversation. Books, audiotapes and visuals aids are made available.
