Artist's Statement:
I am a Russian born artist from St. Petersburg. I graduated as a master student of Prof. A.R. Penck in the Fine Art Academy Dusseldorf in Germany and I moved to New York in 2005.
The concept of my art is "Unity." I believe that everything is interconnected in an invisible net, a single structure inaccessible to the human mind. In my work I combine photography, painting, sculpture, performance and video to express this Unity. With my art, I try to contribute to the peace in the world and understanding between the cultures and religions. I believe that art can inspire people to think positively, open new horizons and unite humanity. I had solo exhibitions of "Unity" at the United Nations in New York, State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, Museum of Contemporary Art in Washington DC, Museum Viermarktthermen in Germany, Niavaran Museum in Tehran, Iran, Lalit Kala in New Delhi, India, Imperial City Art Museum Beijing, China and many others.
